When the body is exposed to infrared light, such as when wearing KYMIRA, it activates a natural enzyme in our body call Endothelial Nitric Oxide Synthase or eNOS for short. The eNOS in turn produces Nitric Oxide in our blood vessels and it is this special chemical that allows the KYMIRA products to treat and support the management of many medical conditions.
The patented KYMIRA products contain the optimum level of infrared inducing minerals, clinically proven to produce the highest level of therapeutic infrared light. All products are are CE and UKCA marked and back up by 10 peer-reviewed clinical research studies.

When the body is exposed to infrared light, such as when wearing KYMIRA, it activates a natural chemical reaction in our body, producing Nitric Oxide. It is this special chemical that allows the KYMIRA products to treat and support the management of many medical conditions.
Pain Conditions
KYMIRA products can be used to support a wide range of pain conditions and pain inducing issues from Fibromyalgia, to neuropathy and nerve pain conditions, to back and joint issues.
The Nitric Oxide produced with the support of KYMIRA products, has a direct relationship with reducing pain levels. Nitric Oxide activates a chemical called Cyclic Guanosine Monophosphate, also called cGMP, which is the same chemical activated when we take an opiate painkiller. Although the effect off KYMIRA will not be as potent as taking an opiate, the products are clinically proven to significantly reduce pain levels without the side effects or addictive risks associated.
Circulatory Conditions
Nitric Oxide in our blood vessels acts as a vasodilator, meaning it opens up our blood vessels, increasing circulation and blood flow through them. This means KYMIRA products can support the treatment, management and regulation of circulatory conditions such as Raynard's disease, Chillblains and Erythromyalgia, plus conditions such as Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Sclerodema, that experience circulatory problems as a secondary effect.
Thermoregulatory Conditions
Due to the increase in circulation, KYMIRA products aid the body's ability to regulate it's internal temperature, helping the wearer stay at an optimal temperature, even when experiencing external extremes of environmental temperatures. KYMIRA products have been comfortably used both in the desert and scaling snowy mountains. It has been found that KYMIRA fabrics can retain their heat 63% longer that standard fabrics in cold conditions and in reverse help to cool the body in hot temperatures by drying 35% quicker than standard fabrics.
Within medical applications, there are many conditions such as Heat or Cold Intolerance, Ross Syndrome and Hypothalamic Disfunction that affect a suffers ability to regulate their temperature. Poor temperature regulation or hypersensitivity to hot or cold temperatures is also a common secondary effect of conditions such as Hypothyroidism, Diabetes, Stroke, Parkinson's, Spinal Cord Injuries, Cystic Fibrosis, Systemic Sclerosis, Psoriasis, Eczema, severe burns and Anaemia.
Inflammation Conditions
Due to the vasodilating effects of the Nitric Oxide, KYMIRA products support a reduction in inflammation by opening up the blood vessels and increasing the blood flow. In doing so the body can more efficiently remove excess fluids from the site of the inflammation. As well as being supportive to the repair of acute injuries, as the focus below, there are many chronic inflammatory conditions that can be helped and managed utilising KYMIRA. The far infrared light created between the KYMIRA product and the wearer, can penetrate 4cm's into the body, making the products ideal for conditions such as Arthritis, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Tendonitis, Lupus, Gout and Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Acute Injuries
KYMIRA supports the repair of soft tissues such as muscles and other connective tissues by stimulating the cellular processes for their repair. This is increased blood circulation, tissue oxygenation and cellular metabolism with support to reduce the consequent inflammation and pain. Wearing the KYMIRA products while engaging in strenuous activities has also been clinically found to reduce the occurrence of injuries and reduce their severity.
Rehabilitation
KYMIRA products can be particularly beneficial in the rehabilitation from surgery and long term rehabilitation from severe accidents or impairments. Alongside the support to soft tissue repair, inflammation reduction and pain management effects highlighted in the above sections, KYMIRA products can help reduce the negative effects of immobility and a strenuous rehabilitation process.
KYMIRA products are ideal to support blood circulation in patients who are immobile and can support the prevention of issues such as Peripheral Arterial Disease, that causes numbness, weakness and sores in and on the legs and feet that will not heal, from the effects of poor circulation. Studies show Nitric Oxide can be powerful in preventing muscle-disuse atrophy and additionally, KYMIRA products are found to be useful as part of physical rehabilitation programmes. With increased blood flow and oxygen levels, KYMIRA helps to breakdown lactic acid within muscles and reduce the effects of muscle aches, the commonly referred to issue of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). KYMIRA rehabilitation partners compliment their treatment plans with KYMIRA products, reporting that patients have an increased capacity to work and reduced issues of muscles soreness and lack of regime compliance. Overall they report an accelerated physical rehabilitation process.
Travel Related Conditions
Reduced mobility and sitting for long periods of time during travelling can lead to conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVTs), that are potentially life endangering clots within the deep veins. This can occur during travel by road, train or air, although there is found to be a 3 fold increased risk if flying over 4 hours. There is also an increased risk of DVT if there is a personal or family history of the condition, use of oestrogen therapy such as contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy, pregnancy, recent surgery, cancer, obesity and some blood clotting abnormalities. Overall, it is most common in older people.
Wearing long compression socks to reduce the risk of DVT's, has been recommended for some time. KYMIRA products, including the leggings and compression socks, increase blood circulation via their compression, but what distinguishes them within the marketplace is their unique infrared capabilities. For compression to be effective at increasing circulation, there must be movement. Using the infrared within KYMIRA, the light reaction takes place even during periods of immobility, increasing blood circulation without any movement required from the wearer.
Bonus Emerging Field
Neuro-Muscular Performance Support for Autonomic Disorders and Neurological Injuries
KYMIRA has a growing area of customers and medical therapeutic professionals using KYMIRA products to support muscle performance and control in autonomic conditions and neurological injuries such as Parkinson's and Strokes.
We are looking to clinically trial this area but we are excited to hear our products helping people within this field.
