Despite a globally tough year, KYMIRA's been having one of our best ever years in 2020, and we've been committed to continuing to innovate, continuing research, continuing growth and continuing to change lives.
We're thrilled to be recognised by Barclays for our efforts, and to announce that we're the 2020 winners of the Eagle Labs Innovation Award for 2020! We were delighted to win in this category and an award for regionally earlier this year, so to win the award on a national scale is something we're especially proud of.
Of the win, our Founder and CEO Tim Brownstone said:
"I was speechless to have won the Barclays Entrepreneur Award as it is such a hotly contested and internationally recognised event. It means an awful lot to me to win the award as Barclays and the Eagle Labs network have supported us as a business for a number of years now, and we have always done our best to give back and support the wider network too."
KYMIRA's win was based on our innovations within the cardiac, internal movement and foetal monitoring research alongside the innovation of the K-Filter nanofibre filtration fabric that effectively filters 99.6%* of viral, pollutant and bacterial particles.
