How KYMIRA Works

Your 2 Week Committed Trial
(Easy Start Plan)
We recommend a committed 2‑week trial to establish habit, see first adaptations, and capture measurable change. (Teams often extend to 30 days for full validation.)
Kit: Base layer top, leggings (or shorts), socks; add sleepwear if available.
Daily Protocol
- AM: Wear KYMIRA® 30–90 min before your first session; keep on during training.
- PM: Wear 2+ hours post‑session; sleep in KYMIRA® sleepwear.
- Travel days: Keep KYMIRA® on door‑to‑door.
Baseline (Day 0)
- Wearables: 7‑day averages for HRV, RHR, sleep efficiency/REM/deep, recovery/readiness.
- Field tests: CMJ (3 best of 5), grip strength, submax effort set (e.g., 3‑min bike at set HR; capture watts).
- Subjective: DOMS VAS, Borg CR‑10, readiness VAS, and mood.
Checkpoints
- Day 7: Look for HRV ↑ / RHR ↓, better sleep metrics, lower DOMS, higher perceived freshness; re‑test CMJ/grip if possible.
- Day 14: Repeat full baseline battery. Expect quicker bounce‑back within 24–48 h and improved neuromuscular markers vs. pre‑trial.
- Quarter 1: Review personal best outcomes, training adaption quickening, injury and niggle occurance.
Evolution
Continue to deploy and utlise KYMIRA infrared in all areas of your training ecosystem for optimal results ongoing results, training, performance, recovery and neuromuscular adaptions, and to maintain injury reduction risk.
What to Measure
Objective
HRV / RHR / Readiness (mRSI proxy): via Whoop/Oura/Garmin; expect early HRV improvements with consistent use.
Neuromuscular: CMJ height, take‑off velocity, eccentric RFD at 24–48 h; KYMIRA® recovery shows significant improvements vs. placebo.
Oxygenation: tcPO₂ trends when available; improved microcirculation demonstrated in clinical results.
Performance strain: Power or pace at fixed HR, grip strength.
Subjective (pair with objective)
DOMS VAS, Borg CR‑10 after key sessions, Readiness VAS AM, sleep quality rating. (We see the objective+subjective pairing is particularly powerful.)
Why Measure Objective & Subjective?
We find pairing objective and subjective measurements particularly powerful when assessing KYMIRA Infrared.
Although it can be seen within 30 seconds under a capillary microscope, athletes hit personal bests on first wears (a soon to be peer-reviewed study from Loughborough University shows athletic performance can be accelerated up to 8.7% from first wear), and improvements tracked within days and weeks.
