KYMIRA's Technology Portolfio
One Smart Textile Platform. Multiple Technologies. Infinite Potential.
KYMIRA transforms clothing from passive apparel into active wearable technology.
Our platform combines advanced infrared textiles, smart garments, physiological
monitoring and wearable intelligence to improve human performance, recovery and
health.
Today, our infrared technology powers commercially deployed products used across elite sport, healthcare and consumer markets.
Tomorrow, the same platform enables the next generation of wearable monitoring and smart textile innovation.
Infrared Textiles
Commercialised. Clinically Investigated. Globally Deployed.
KYMIRA's proprietary infrared textile technology is embedded directly into fabric fibres and designed to convert naturally emitted body energy into beneficial far
infrared wavelengths. The technology works passively, requiring no batteries, charging, electronics or behaviour change, making it suitable for continuous use in real-world environments.
Backed by more than a decade of development, 10+ published peer-reviewed human studies and ongoing research with leading academic institutions, infrared technology has demonstrated benefits across circulation, tissue oxygenation, recovery, rehabilitation, pain modulation and exercise adaptation. Recent applied human studies have shown statistically significant improvements in neuromuscular recovery, physiological readiness and exercise adaptation signalling, helping establish KYMIRA as a scientific leader within the infrared performance and recovery category.

Beyond Sensors: Smart Garment Manufacturing & Power Systems
Building Smart Textiles for the Real World
Many wearable technologies succeed in laboratory environments but fail when
translated into everyday use. KYMIRA has spent more than a decade developing
the technologies, processes and expertise required to integrate sensing, power
and data systems directly into garments while maintaining comfort, durability,
washability and scalable manufacture.
Our platform combines proprietary technologies covering textile-integrated sensing,
garment-scale power and data transfer, wearable electrodes, smart garment
assembly and scalable e-textile manufacturing. Together, these capabilities
help solve one of the greatest challenges in wearable technology: creating
smart garments that are practical to wear and practical to manufacture.
Core Platform Capabilities
- Textile-integrated sensing architectures
- Garment-scale power and data transfer
- Textile electrodes for physiological monitoring
- Scalable e-textile manufacturing processes
- Conductive materials and encapsulation technologies
- Washable wearable electronics
- Signal acquisition and processing systems
- Smart garment assembly and integration methodssource or behaviour change
Energy Harvesting & Future Power Systems
KYMIRA has also undertaken research into textile-based power systems, including energy harvesting, wireless charging concepts and garment-integrated power technologies designed to support future generations of connected smart garments.
Built for Scale
Our focus extends beyond sensing itself to the engineering challenges required for real-world deployment, including durability, comfort, washability, manufacturability, regulatory readiness and scalable production. This enables the transition from prototype wearable technologies to practical smart textile systems suitable for everyday use across sport, healthcare and industry.
